The Buildout and Decommissioning LabWorX (BDL) group works with our clients to plan and execute a laboratory buildout to your specifications. We work directly with our clients and building owners.
Laboratory buildouts come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. We work in new construction as well as renovation spaces. Many of our clients need current laboratory environments modified based on new requirements and/or protocol.
Many of our clients are working with a general contractor, a building owner, or both. We have a solid track record of bridging the gap between science and construction companies. We have worked through the multitude of challenges associated with a buildout project. Space planning, vendor organization, fixture location and specification, electrical, equipment location, flooring, plumbing, and more all have to be taken into consideration. We understand that most of clients are going through this process for the first time. It’s not something that they do on a regular basis. Many of the building owners and constructing companies do not deal with the special needs of scientific tenants. We only work with laboratories and their successful operation.
